Our Story

Sarah Sturges & Stefano Zanoncello

Our lives revolve largely around delectable food and fine wine. We seek to raise the act of savoring to an art form, through the practice of presence, in breathtaking surroundings. We take you on sojourns to stunning sites and show you beautiful vistas in lands less traversed. We nourish you with authentic, mouth-watering, local cuisine and wine.  We are Sensi e Diletti and will be your expert escorts through northern Italy, and beyond.

SARAH STURGES

Registered Travel Advisor and Certified Yoga Instructor

Sarah is a registered travel advisor, independently affiliated with Eclectus Travel a Serandipians Member. She has a passion for wellness, gastronomy, and treading the earth far and wide but with a gentle footprint. She is the designated Eclectus “Champion” for Pristine Mood—Serandipians’ sustainability board, which seeks to educate and encourage progress towards eco-forward travel practices.

Before moving to Italy, you may have known Sarah as a Boston-based yoga instructor. She has designed, organized, and taught yoga retreats, both locally and internationally, for the past fifteen years. As a result of teaching mindfulness, through yoga, she promotes her belief of conscious consumption--that good food, good wine. and the art of travel should be celebrated and savored. As such, she infuses yogic elements of balance and immersion into each and every itinerary.

Stefano Zanoncello, Sensi E Diletti

Stefano Zanoncello

Certified Sommelier and Italian Native

Stefano is a native of Verona, Italy. In 2013 he left his job in banking and moved to Boston where he begun a career in the wine industry. After attending the Elizabeth Bishop Wine program at Boston University, he became a Certified Sommelier with the Court of Master Sommeliers and an Italian Wine Scholar with the Wine Scholar Guild. For Stefano, it isn’t just the taste of the wine that holds his intrigue, but rather every historical, natural, and human factor involved in the grape growing and wine making process.
